Great location near the pier, marine museum, and shops. Accommodating staff. Sea view on the seventh floor. Delicious food with a good choice of vegetarian and vegan options.

Felt secure, no complaints whatsoever.

Easy to get to Dublin city centre by train. Large communal facilities. Comfortable and spacious room.

It's pretty old-fashioned.

The entrance is beautiful and in accordance with the photos beautiful frame and beautiful location

The only problem I would have with the hotel is that the hairdryer in my room (no. 351) was broken and didn't work properly.

great hotel in a great location! dedicated staff at the reception after we wanted to upgrade to a room with sea view - as the rooms out back resemble a prison yard. next room was then unfortunately with a defective shower, with this new complaint we got as an excuse a mega room on the 5th floor, great view, everything is great, we like to come again :-)!

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect, right in the center, just in front of the pier, and with a lovely seaview. The service was great, with room service, dry cleaning, laundry, and amenities like ironing facilities. We also enjoyed the television, am/fm alarm clock, and the carpeted floor. The dining restaurant had delicious food and we loved the in-room breakfast. The bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and unwind. The staff was incredibly helpful and prompt, telling us that she would have to speak with her manager and assisting us in a very prompt manner.

the Hotel is a factory with tour operators ... for them the Breakfast is included in the price, not us! The staff is not always very welcoming.

We had a wonderful time during our Christmas stay. the room was beautiful, with a lovely bathroom that had a separate bath and shower. the view from the room was stunning, and we enjoyed waking up to it every morning. the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble for them. the hotel's location was also great, with easy access to shopping and walking areas. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together.

The only thing that disappointed us was the food.

hotel in a beautiful place, building itself is already impressive, interior is like the Titanic, rooms are clean with everything you need on site, spa, swimming pool, bar and restaurant, free underground parking. Beautiful view of the marina and sea. You can see that the hotel requires refreshment in some places, that doesn't interfere with the overall assessment, it's definitely a place to go back to!

view to the harbour was very nice. big bathroom with shower and tub. train connection to dublin city (dart), station about 300 meters away. for breakfast there was a shopping centre nearby.

parking garage up/down and parking spaces very narrow for larger vehicles. hotel's getting old. exterior of the hotel has been heavily reworked or is already very old. price for breakfast was not visible when booking. costs for breakfast at 16 eur/person.

Spacious rooms with a sofa. Excellent spa and pool facilities. Beautiful, old-fashioned decoration and style. Great location with stunning views. Good breakfast.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The location near the Pier in Dun Laoghaire was perfect for exploring the area. The interior design of the hotel was beautiful and added to the overall ambiance. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a wide selection of options to choose from. Additionally, the gym facilities were top-notch, allowing me to stay active during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

central location

no information about high parking fees (€42,50 ! one night stay) which were not charged by our friends after request - we were not informed at the reception that the parking ticket is validated free of charge! felt like a rip-off!

The quality of the hotel's spa, the staff at the small treatment, the quality of the bedding, the after the super but very expensive, the restaurants are excellent and very affordable.

breakfast is not up to the price of 16.50€ per person, no fresh fruit juice, no eggs other than scrambled eggs, no cakes or pancakes or anything else. Not a great location when you want to visit Dublin, far away from everything.

Perfect location with easy access to the city center, DART station, and the beach. AirCoach bus service conveniently stops right in front of the hotel. Sea-view rooms offer a pleasant view. Friendly staff makes the stay enjoyable. Reasonable rates when booked in advance and outside of scheduled events.

The hotel needs a revamp, as it does not live up to its 4-star rating. the bathroom in the room was lacking.

basically the hotel is well equipped: pool, restaurant, bar etc. location is also recommended.

some of the furniture is a little old. many little things are worn out: shower door doesn't close, toilet paper holder almost falls off, mugs. i also didn't like the fact that the spa is advertised everywhere, although there are no more dates available within the next three weeks. breakfast was rather lala.

Hotel was in great localisation. Rooms was looking clean in tidy. Breakfast was nice, staff was friendly.

We had a problem with Check IN.Was a problem with our reservation(our reservation was't in there system) and after that our room keys weren't working.We didn't get into the room until two hours after arriving at the hotel.Staff was helpful ,all issues was fixed but in our opinion we should be offered some voucher of discount.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Dublin. The view from my room was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and it was great value for my money. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel's location near the ocean made it easy for me to enjoy walks along the promenade and visit the maritime museum and Shackleton exhibition. It was also convenient for catching the train into the city. The bed was very comfortable and having accessible Wi-Fi was a nice perk.

photos are not that they do not correspond to reality but they are very well worked and it seems another thing of more luxury that then in fact you find yourself in the aspect that we are, yes, before an old Hotel with its History but nowadays it should not be confused old with old-fashioned although they try something else. What you really find (or what we have been offered) is a room with interior views to a courtyard of lights, just 12 m2 with a fairly dirty carpet and not for lack of cleaning but because the carpet with time and passage of people already know

We were pleasantly surprised with the special attention to details during our stay. The hotel surprised us with a personalized welcome message and a complimentary bottle of wine in our room. The location is great, near transportation and parks. highly recommended.

hotel is located directly on the sea, view was the most beautiful. one could watch the ferries, ships, small harbour with its lighthouses. we had booked sea view to it and did not regret it. we even had a small balcony. room and bed were huge. everything was available. breakfast not included, could have been booked in addition. many restaurants and shopping facilities nearby. service was great. parking is possible in the underground car park under the hotel (free of charge). that was very practical.

We return to this hotel very often, it is our favourite, for family reasons we visit Dun Laoghaire between 2 and 3 times a month and we stay at the Royal Marine, we love it and we are fond of it

I like everything

spacious, quiet hotel after a trip to Dublin. Wonderful landscape, swimming pool, gym. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Nothing bad to say, staff is always present and smiling to serve you. Great week stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and within walking distance of the Dart station. The staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had impeccable service. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the bar and lounge area, where we relaxed and had some delicious food. The hotel also had a spa and wellness centre, which added to our overall experience. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus and made it easy for us to stay connected.

The customer service could be better trained, but that didn't detract from our overall experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
